I read an advance reading copy of this book and it was fascinating。 When reading all of the accomplishments of the Greeks， it’s like reading a who’s who of many of the greatest minds in the history of philosophy mathematics and the first writings on history and novels。 They were poets and warriors， thinkers and doers， statesmen and businessmen。 The Greeks were accomplished warriors and they were able to conquer much of the known world under Alexander the Great。 If you are at all interested in Gr I read an advance reading copy of this book and it was fascinating。 When reading all of the accomplishments of the Greeks， it’s like reading a who’s who of many of the greatest minds in the history of philosophy mathematics and the first writings on history and novels。 They were poets and warriors， thinkers and doers， statesmen and businessmen。 The Greeks were accomplished warriors and they were able to conquer much of the known world under Alexander the Great。 If you are at all interested in Greek history， this book is a great start。 。。。more
